Cineworld Unlimited Card to go from

Yep that's spot on...although I suppose I could just go through showing my unlimited card...I've just never tried it. Another plus point is that the cineworld by me (Birmingham Broad Street) will give you back money for car-parking too - up to 3 hours parking! I regularly go into town and park there...buy a cinema ticket and get back money for parking...then not actually go and see a film - but hey...it's free car parking in Birmingham :cool: Unlimited cinema carRAB rule :D :D :D
 
Are Cineworld films shown in focus these days? Every time I went to see a film at my local cineworld a few years ago the picture was always blurred
 
Yeah, Cineworld in Broad Street do indeed give your parking money back, this was in response the the AMC over the road who also pay for your parking.

I have used Cineworld a few times, but prefer the larger screens and more comfy seats at the AMC also the car park is in the same complex and not have to park on the road, plus it's 20p cheaper!

Though I probably will decide on a pass and put up with the less comfy seats, just hope the people behind don't mind me fidgeting all the time, as I do at Cineworld - really wish they'd sort their seats out.

RE: Buying tickets

I thought you'd might have to still obtain a ticket, otherwise they may already be full, or they would be allowing others to buy tickets thinking there were still seats available but there weren't.
 
Its in the terms and conditions that you must go to the box office and get a valid ticket even if you have an Unlimited card. You cant just go in and show your card and go into whichever screen takes your fancy.
 
For the people saying their local Cineworld doesn't accept Unlimited CarRAB. They do all Cineworld cinemas accept them, but only a few allow you to sign up. My local one is the same, I went in to sign up and they told me they couldn't sign me up. The nearest one was about 10 miles away.

So I went in asked to be signed up, they gave me the application form, filled it in, they check your ID and then stand you against a wall with a white screen and take your photo. They give you a temporary cardboard pass and I got my swipe photo card in 4 weeks.
 
Does anyone know if you get a temporary card when you sign up online? I know you do when you sign up at the cinema. It's a temporary card until they send you your proper one.
 
As far as i know you cant sign up for Cineworld Unlimited online. But this may have changed recently as the website has been greatly improved. But if you sign up at the cinema you can use your temporary card straight away.
 
Apparently you can apply online now. Had a look at the website yesterday and my local cineworld has adverts everywhere about it. Not sure how it works. Possibly you take the photo down after you get confirmation. Maybe it saves taking your bank statement to the cinema.
 
just checked out online (even though I already have a card), and its even simpler (I suppose) you can upload a JPEG picture to the application... Still good though going into the cinema, signing up, getting ya temp card, then spending days in the cinema...
 
Goddamit I'd have done it online and sent in my own photo if I could have. The cineworld taken one makes me look about 20 years older!!!

But I do love my card. This is my first month and I've been to see 3 films, will likely be 5-6 by the time the month enRAB. So I've saved loaRAB :D
 
Isn't there a thing with these which means you can't go to certain films? Because when the new Harry Potter came out im sure i read something that said "No Passes for this film". Is this referring to these?

Don't think I would get one though, don't see that much at the cinema really.
 
No. Unlimited applies to all films. It's essentially classed as a one-off pre pay, rather than any kind of pass (which one assumes refers to staff passes, etc).
 
The only thing it doesn't entitle you to is certain previews - ie: special events where you need to win tickets, or be invited etc. All other films will be accepted by the card - hell, you've paid for it, so why not :D
