Cineworld Unlimited And Orange Wednesday

As I have a Cineworld Unlimited card I have been using my orange phone to get my other half in free on Orange wednesdays. until now they have always accepted the unlimited card as the paid for ticket and i have done this in several cineworlRAB with no problem. But last night they told me that Orange have decided they are not happy about unlimited card holders using their card as the paid for ticket so the orange one is free. So they are no longer going to allow this although they did last night as the orange system was not working. Has anyone else been told this? It means that Orange Wednesdays will be useless to me from now on unless they compromise and let us pay half for the orange ticket. Shame really as this was a really good deal. When we next go on a wednesday will probably try again to see what is said but basically cineworld are saying it is orange who have got wind of this and are not happy.
 
While the Unlimited card has it's flaws - you can't really blame them on this one. They'll probably have something in the contract stating that it "can't be used in conjunction with another offer" or similar.
 
i must admit I was amazed when i was first told that I could do this and I E mailed Cineworld and they confirmed that it is fine because the unlimited card does not count as an offer as it is like paying for your tickets upfront. Its actually Orange who have complained about it.

I have just E Mailed Cineworld to ask for an update on this. Will let you know what reply i get.
