Cineworld Trocadero - lights up

Don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but the Cineworld cinema in London's Trocadero now brings up the lights as soon as the closing credits start.

It's especially annoying when they do it at the end of a tearjerker film. Today I went to see Just Like Heaven (the new Reece Witherspoon one) and my eyes were welling up at the (predictably) mushy ending and then, as soon as the credits start, up go the lights and I'm sitting there all moist eyed - how embarrasing :o

So now I have no chance to compose myself before leaving and it means I can't see any tearjerkers at that cinema any more :(

Thank god they don't show King Kong :cry:
 
Im sure there were a few other teary eyed people in there. It might have just been a one off depending on who was controlling the lights. Ive been to the Cineworld by me a few times and its had lights on during the trailers once, then back to normal a second time. Dont let it put you off going to mushy films. Theres bound to be someone worse.

Do you recommend the film? I wanted to see it this week but havent been able to fit it in. Its defo on the top of my to see list.
 
Yes, I would recommend it, it's entertaining and has some funny scenes and the two main characters work well together. It's a film where you can just switch off and enjoy - if you're into those type of films, which I am. :D

I don't think it was a one off, as I saw Flightplan and Doom a few weeks ago and they did the same thing. Luckily they were definitely NOT weepies.
