CineWorld Disaster!

Last night I went up to my local CineWorld in Swindon and watched the 6pm performance of Scary Movie 3 when after about an hour into the film the fire alarm went off and the whole building was evacuated. CineWorld immediately said that we would get our money back and we would be able back into the cinema in 5 minutes. 30 minutes later and fire brigade came and CIneWorld said that we would all get free tickets to see another film but we would not be getting our money back and if we wanted to see the rest of our films, we would have to wait 1 hour.

Not very good really is it.

You should be f***ing greatful that you wont burned alive, instead of complaining about not getting to watch the rest of the Scary "not that funny" movie 3:rolleyes:

*lala kisses her teeth*

i should of made myself clear. there was no fire. it was a blown fuse box of something. nothing dangerous, or so they say.

Ayt the end of the day, shit happens. You got free tickets for another film and the chance to watch the rest of the film.

Erm, what isn't very good?

I admit that having your film and night out ruined isn't great, but the cinema have given you free tickets so that you can go again, so what's the problem?

I fail to see why you're upset!

And so what if it was a false alarm, I expect 99.9% of people in the cinema that night would have been glad they were out if it was a real emergency.

Geeez.

i would have been too- a similar thing happened when i worked at a cinema/fleapit and "saving private ryan" was on-we gave everyone free tickets there too-it wasnt a fire incident though-there were projector problems

my feelings would have been-if it was a film that was just ok i couldnt be bothered to sit through the first half all over again but it would have bugged me not knowing what happened in the rest of the film-plus what a waste of a night out! (and a free ticket that could be used for another film)
