Cilla Black on Carol Vorderman: "When She Was Doing Countdown..."

Blimey, it's a sad day for broadcasting when you have to rely on Sherrie Hewson to pull the show together!

I don't watch Loose Women but have caught a few bits on the morning repeats and I noticed Cilla 'the Hun' on the panel a week or so ago. Is she a regular now?
 
Yeah I think "hur" is more of a Lancashire pronunciation, although I could be wrong and it could just be Cilla's own pronunciation!
 
I know. This is why I dont like scousers. Cilla is the living proof. The way she kept going on about her career when the lovely Jill Halfpenny was waiting to talk/reply [and you could see the restrained annoyance on her face as Black was waffling on and on...]
And, God, whats wrong with her mouth...those bloody teeth...and [ oh the humanity] that jaw....!
 
A bit of a generalisation there! As someone who lives the other side of the water, I have always found scousers to be really firendly, it's just Cilla I can't stand!
 
Aww poor old Cilla, she was like my tv aunty back in the 90s :D

I have to admit though, me and my dad pissed ourselves every time she sang at the end of Surprise Surprise! :D :D
 
I remember being fairly traumatised by that striptease she did at the Royal Variety performance a few years ago.

Cilla Black. Feigning an orgasm. In front of the Queen. The stuff of nightmares.

Lennon tended to have the "air" sound though. For "her" as well as "hair".

And on topic, anyone who slags off Vordermort goes up in my estimation. Go Cilla! (and I'm guessing it was tongue in cheek anyway) Haven't seen the Royal Variety thing people are going on about, but I bet it still wasn't as horrendous as Vorderman's "sex face" when she danced a rhumba on Strictly a few years ago. :eek:
