...alternator. belt tensioner ...? pulley, regular pulley and serpentine belt. The belt was OK for about a week and then started to sqeal again. The belt now sqeals most of the time except when the vehicle is idling. I was thinking maybe the water pump or air conditioner pulleys may be locking up. The van uses a slight bit of antifreeze. Does anyone have any answers what this sqealing may be! It doesn't really seem to do any damage to the belt as far as burning and it quits for a short time when I spray belt dressing on it. I do all my own work so am wondering how to do the job. Thanks for any information.

replace the tensioner again. but this time spend the extra money for one from the dealership.

I would replace the tensioner with one from the dealership and also check the peep hole in the water pump to make sure it's not weeping. You can also turn all the pulleys by hand when you remove the belt to check for excessive play or a grinding noise.

Try going to a big do it yourself auto wreckers and pick up a tensioner then try that, bec the wreckers should have a few vans like yours and also you might find a brand new tensioner on one of them.
