Hello,
I have a 95 chrysler new yorker aprox 120,000 miles, had the tranny serviced 2 years ago due to shifting problems. They changed filter, fluid and some hoses and the car drove great for 6 months. Car now in limp in mode, was told it was a tranny solenoid or possibly corroded wires. I have no idea what the name of the solenoid is or where it is located on the tranny or where these coroded wires are located or how to get to them. I have absolutely no money to pay a mechanic to look so i have to do this myself with some mechanical experience. Please help.
it is an automatic with overdrive I think, I am pritty good with engines but not with trannys.
