Dodge has several good pros and cons, which could explain why you hardly see them:
Pro: They're easy to repair from a shade-tree mechanic point of view.
Con: They use a limited set of transmissions which are prone to serious problems in the long run (the Dynasty series for example)
Pro: They can be tuned with after market parts to get incredible gas mileage.
Con: They often require this type of after market tune up in order to achieve such mileage.
Pro: They are often built as family vehicles which appeal to more responsible drivers.
Con: They are often built as family vehicles which appeal to more responsible drivers.
Aside from that, the American economy is currently stranded for just about everybody right now. And it's hard for some of us to even find jobs, let alone for large companies such as GM to maintain their own stock holdings in this country. But that's a different argument altogether.
