Chrysler Financial Question?

My car was a total loss and it was a lease I was told by my insurance that I am getting the difference back but told by Chrysler financial that they keep the whole check without sending me the balance. Is it true that Chrysler financial keeps the whole check without cutting me the difference? If so is legal?

It depends on the value of your insurance settlement versus your lease agreement and penalty for early termination. Having the car totalled gives the same result as you ending the lease early and paying the penalty.

YOU can't get any difference back, because YOU don't own the car!! Yes, you can't make money when someone ELSE'S car gets totalled. Sorry.
