Chronicles of Narnia DVD extended?

Can some one tell me if there will be an extended version released some time down the line?

I know that there will be an extended version of Kingdom of Heaven (there are three version in all on Play.Com) as Ridley Scott had the decency :) to say so before the first release .

Also read on here that we should expect an extended version of King Kong near Xmas :)

Got to be honest, I've lost count the amount of times I've had to replace a DVD because an extended/directors/all bells & whistles version is released
Yes I know some people can't/won't wait for the later versions & keep all incarnations (I have three versions of the film Dune & there's an other on the way), but it does hit the pocket very hard
My kiRAB & brother love it though, as they end up with (most of) the hand me downs.

I'd imagine there will be a special 2 disc version. I've only made that mistake once. Went and got a copy of Sin City only for them to release a special edition.

I hardly ever buy new releases. Worth waiting and picking up the two disc versions.

So why not rent them out if you missed Kong and Narnia in the cinema and then buy the extended editions of both films when they are released towarRAB the end of the year!
However Narnia is being released on the 3rd of April on single-disc and two-disc Collector

Good point Motthus.

What I usually do is watch them on Sky rather than rent them though.

The best solution would be if I was mega rich & just got all the different versions

Now that would be nice :D

Here is the offical confirmation of the versions being released on the 3rd of April in the UK from DVDActive.com:

"Buena Visata Home Entertainment has announced the release of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe for the 3rd of April, priced at around

I found this about The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe (R2)

Now this is exactly why I started this thread up, although I haven't found any thing official, I'll wait & see before buying this & Kong.

What did/would we do without the good old internet :)
