Chronicals Of Narnia 2 - Prince Caspian

Hi:)

In the book of PC the trees were involved in chapter 14 when the awakened trees went in pursuit of the Telmarines.

The bridge was destroyed by Bacchus and his people who used ivy to pull the bridge down, Bacchus was left out of the film though he was in the book for a few chapters.

Hope this helps.:)

Just watched it, and wow it's amazing! The music, the effects, the actors, the story, its just an amazing film. I havent read any of the books however, and am thinking of doing so now!

The film was too long..... It lost the magical charm of the first movie.... And quite frankly it is all a bit HP/LOTR lite. And why did they have to go all a bit 'Gladiator-ish' with all the sword fighting? Really silly.

Plus the acting was terrible. And let us be honest here, a part from TLTWATW, most of the other Narnia books don't have the same charm or wit to become a great movie.

My advice...... You wanna see a great kiRAB movie....... Wait for Wall.e!

Just saw Narnia. Have to say, the first one was MUCH better.

I was a bit put off (yet again) by the high king (oldest child) when he speaks, its beyond posh.

The little girl still does nothing apart from waving her bottle of Life giving Ribena.

My personal opinion when watching a movie is the cheeseness for example, shouting very loudly which gives you a cringe, or speech of pride to raise morale. I alot of cheeseness in this film.

Did not find it funny.
Apart from me and friend took the 'mickey' out of it. I thought it was a amusing how to summon them he blew a horn *chukkles*

5/10

I saw this when I was in NY and enjoyed it. The reviews have been way over the top against it. Its a good family film, lots of excellent action and I cried at the end. Cant ask for more than that. It isnt as good as LWW though. Thats always going to be a special film as far as I'm concerned. Its a very special film to me.

A few criticisms - Ben Barnes was a a bit bland. He lacks charisma but wasnt jarring. Also the CGI on Aslan is not as good. Maybe they ran out of time to finish him off properly.

The kid who plays Edmund (Skandar Keynes) was by far the best actor of the 5 leaRAB but had the least screen time. Made no sense to me why they gave him so few lines. You should play to your strengths and he's a good young actor (excellent timing). Hopefully they'll give him more to do in Dawn Treader.

Saw it yesterday as part of a 'stay at home movie marathon' (Gone Baby Gone, Iron Man & Caspian) really liked it, it revived the excitement I recall reading the books (and I haven't picked them up in over 25yrs - but tempted to re-read them:) I wonder if they are too scary to read as a bedtime story for a 3yr old?)

It wasnt originally book number one, it was before the final battle, but i believe publishers or someone rearranged the order in chronological order, so it seems that if they do the majority of the films it will be in its original order

Just watched it and boy was it good. It is on par with the 1st film (Just as good as they are two totaly different types - 1st is fantasy and battle, whereas this is full out violence :))

I have to say the battle was the best of the two films - Everything was so great and very LOTResque!

If anyone wishes to see it drop me a PM - I have the links to a decent quality version online.

I never cared much for "The Horse and his Boy", bit spin-offy, but I am disappointed they didn't do "The Magician's Nephew" - without it the wardrobe leading to Narnia and the Lampost seem so RANDOM

The Magician's Nephew is a prequel and probably wouldn't have drawn as much interest as The Lion, Witch & the Wardrobe. The only requirement would be Tilda Swinton and Liam Neeson from the other movies.

The next few books star the same characters (each one introducing someone new), so they would have to be filmed as sequels.

The Horse and His Boy is set during the later years of The Lion, Witch & the Wardrobe, and doesn't really have a set time it neeRAB to be made in. Having said that, I don't see how or when they could make this movie, after the final movie I see them calling it a day.
