Eversince I saw the first one a few years ago, I have been looking forward to watching the sequel.

Yeh yeh I know it doesn't comeout here till the end of June, but it doesn't take Stephen f'ing Hawking to workout that it is avaliable to those that cannot wait :rolleyes:.

So may I be the first to say........ What a freakng great film :D.

Now this weekend I will be a decent individual and watch Indy 4 at the cinema ;)
 
Skandar is doubly awesome in Prince Caspian just not on screen enough. I'd have sacrificed some Barnes and Moseley scenes to see much more of Keynes. My friend went mental at the 02 when he came on stage. Virtually deafened me and she hadnt even seen the film then!!!!

He really stood out even if he doesnt have many scenes. Bit daft of the director really to reduce his role when he was the best actor in LWW.
 
I cannot tell you how many times I have read the "Narnia" books, even now when I've got the flu or something I always get out my three faves to cheer me up.
I actually sobbed when I saw the first trailer at the cinema for TLTWATW because the CGI of Aslan was soooo good (imo), I was so emotional my Hubby could not get anything intelligble out of me when he asked why I was crying :o.
So I am absolutely thrilled to hear they are starting TVOTDT & I'm waiting for PC at the cinema cos it's out near my birthday & it'll be a fantastic treat.
 
I'm guessing you watched either a CAM or Screener copy of the Film. If so, what was the quality like, any good?

'Cause I'd like to see it on the sly myself too ;]
 
I'm a big narnia fan but it pains me to say the criticisms of PC are fair. It does lack heart due to a poor script. The characers are not fleshed out enough. Its a workmanlike film but shows a lack of flair and imagination.

I adore Skandar and was p*ssed off by his lack of screen time but was glad at least he was bril in the scenes he had.
Georgie was not as good as I expected her to be but she was ok. Moseley and Popplewell I like as people but they'll never make good actors and I agree they were wooden. Ben Barnes is a cute poster boy and an average actor but he isnt really leading man material. Just because someone is attractive doesnt mean they have the charisma for leading man status. The draft script for Dawn Treader is garbage so I'm quite worried about the franchise.
 
There is a decent cam out, but not sure if I can tell u which 1 it is, all I can say is think of directions on a compass - you'll know what i'm talking about when u see the filename ;)
 
Jaquiann i am going to the premiere at the 02 on the 19th would you like me to get you a programme as this is coming out near your bday ?
 
Does anyone know why the release of PC in the UK is over a month after the US, Australia etc release? I thought normally with this big summer blockbuster that they are released worldwide on the same day!
 
Ist not as good as the first as there was way too much focus on Moseley and Popplewell who cant act for toffee. Should have built up Skandar Keynes and Georgie's roles. They are much better actors. Keynes is cute as hell for someone of 16.
 
I saw it today. It was OK, in parts but felt very long. Most of the time it just seemed to be treading water waiting for the next battle sequence. Barnes was fine, although not particularly memorable, same story with the kiRAB. Edmund was pretty much an extra in this film. William Mosley is still cringe-inducing at times. The love-story angle was very 1-dimensional and tacked on.

Some parts at the end bothered me but I won't spoil them. All I'll say is, what was going on with that cheesy pop song that started playing? Awful.

thought edmund did the best acting didnt like rivalry between caspian and peter it not in the book:(
 
OK, I'll split the difference and say both. JRRT for writting it and PJ for bringing the scenes to the screen. I actually expected the rising waters in PC to be crowned by some galloping horses.
