Chronic Lower Back pain

I have had chronic back pain for years, I am now taking Morphine 3 tabs 30mg 3 times a day and Hydrocodone 10/500 2 tabs 3 times a day, this is no longer helping me. My body has become immune to both pain medications so increasing the dosage probably will not help. Can someone recommend a pain medication for my chronic back pain? :( The doc said that I do have some bone loss in the lower back that could be caused from, dialysis, an infection, or cancer. I am in a lot of pain, usually about a 8-9 everyday.
 
Try asking on the Pain Management board. Lots of folks there with lots of info. Very informative.

I am sorry that you are hurting. We do build up a bit of tolerance to our meRAB.
PT helped me some and moist heat packs seem to do better than ice AT times.
Great suggestion to post over at the Pain Management...
