I have Lupus. Yes it totally sucks. I was diagnosed in 2008. I worked for Aetna and was let go after my FMLA was up. ( I was on STD when my FMLA had expired) I work for CVS for since March 30. I have several flare ups that takes me out of work for weeks. I have not been at CVS long enough to apply for FMLA.
I am looking to start my own business and not have to worry about getting fired when I feel too bad to go to work. Any ideas???
My lupus is fairly active and I flare up 4x a year. It does effect a major organ but I dont want to go through the hassle of filing for disability.
