Hi,
I have had three operations on my lower spine L5, L4 & L3. I have recently been having serious issues with my lower back again and am in great pain.
I had an MRI taken yesterday and was told that my doctor will not get a copy of the report for a week but I was given a cd with all the images.
Additional Details
first surgery was 2004/2005 - unable to lift my right leg - was told L5 was pushing against my spinal cord and as such needed an operation.
2nd operation was May 2008 - chronic lower back pain - advised that L5, L4 & partial L3 were pushing in to my spinal cord.
3rd operation was a month later - spinal fluid leaking from my back as surgeon later said that the discs were so far pushed against my spinal cord that a little slit was made on my spinal cord which they said they patched (which they didnt properly so they operated again and repatched the spinal cord.
Present - chronic lower back pain & havent been able to do anything for the past 4 weks - have TENS unit on and on medication but pain getting worse - hence MRI taken yesterday.
