Chromed rear pulley

Hey everyone

I have a 2010 Street Glide and was wanting to get the rear pulley chrome plated. Has anyone done this? If so, were there any problems? Thanks in advance for your help.

I was told years ago not to use a chrome sprocket cover as it would hold the fine dirt and moisture to the face of the pulley, and act as a grinding compound.

This should work I believe, though it is a billet pulley and not a plated cover. I don't know all the touring codes. Check the info below, a the sprocket is gorgeous.

Stinger Billet Sprocket

Designed to complement the wheel's styling, these custom sprockets are manufactured from 6061-T6 forged billet aircraft aluminum, and precision machined to exacting Original Equipment standards. Harley-Davidson

His bike is equipped with the cush drive system. The sprocket is not bolted on. It's merely held to the wheel by pressure once the axle is tightened. The picture below will show what it looks like. Notice there are no bolt holes just the axle hole.

I had a chromed rear belt pulley on my FLSTF, it looked awesome as it was chrome on both sides, yes I had spoked wheels so you could see the back side. I just don't like covers of anykind on anything. The shop that I used back then had one on the wall.
