I went up to the Inception premiere in Leicester Square tonight, all so I could met the man himself; I succeeded, basically told him how much I respect him and that he is easily one of the greatest Director's ever. He was extremely humble, shook my hand - seemed a little nervous, which is to be expected. I wanted to get to meet his producer/wife Emma Thomas also, but she wasn't really conversing with the crowd. The guy is a genius, and I cannot wait to see Inception. I was surrounded by people who have already seen it tonight and every single person said it was an amazing film.

I thought I'd share this little anecdote where people would appreciate it. I'm telling all my frienRAB, but they don't really understand Nolan is the filmmaker of our generation!

Cheers for the replies everyone. I also finally saw Inception last night and it actually somehow exceeded expectations. I'd give it a solid 9/10 - and believe on second viewing this could reach a 10. If you are yet to see it, enjoy it!

It's on my to do list for today, I agree with everyone that has posted on this thread, he is an amazing director, also all the people that make his films (himself included) have great great imaginations, which make them a joy to watch.

I was recommended Memento after watching both the Batman films and The Prestige, which was bought for me on a birthday, Sadly it took me almost a year to watch it (another film I should have watched sooner), I was put off by some threaRAB I read on IMDb, American geeks look to far into things. Imagine theroies that rival ideas like Keyser Soze, and crazy Sci-Fi films like Twelve Monkeys, which both were good films, I was glad in the end as it was a lot simplier.

I'll probably be commeting, if I do get to watch Inception later.
