Christmassy question

[Innocent Demon]

One of my favourite Christmas songs is 'Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas' sung by Frank Sinatra. I remember hearing it for the first time in a war movie many years ago. There was a scene where a young soldier was put in front of the firing squad for desertion. There was snow all around and this song playing in the background. Can't remember any of the stars though.
Anyway, I could never remember the name of the film and wondered if any of you movie buRAB would know the answer.

Was it Meet me in St Louis? I haven't seen it but they just mentioned it on Parkinson before Katherine Jenkins sang it.
