Christmas Movies

Miracle on 34th Street is great for kiRAB who are just at the point of not believing in Santa any more. it's my fave Xmas film :)

It's A Wonderful Life

Miracle on 34th Street (both versions)

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (I love watching this one after decorating my tree. Seeing them choosing their tree. always reminRAB me of what I used to be like.) :D

A Christmas Carol (Alastair Sim)

I will happily get comfey on the sofa for any nice Christmas themed film that comes on the tv. :)

Santa Claus the movie (great it came free in paper on sat)

Scrooged (The one with Bill Murray in)

Home Alone 1 and 2

Great watching them on christmas eve, yet i watch them just before aswell :D

A) Don't be embarrassed to like The Polar Express, it's a really good film.

B) It isn't a cartoon. It's an animated CGI feature. Only Zemeckis' recent Beowulf has surpassed it visually. The 3D in fact was amazing.

My top 5 favourite Christmas films are:

1) Home Alone
2) Gremlins
3) Scrooged
4) Batman Returns
5) Die Hard

Mine have to be:

Love Actually
The Holiday
The Family Stone
Christmas With The Cranks
Bad Santa
Home Alone 1 & 2
The Grinch

Been watching them all for a month now!!!

(Also, not a movie, but I love the Teachers christmas episode[last episode in series 2 - not 4])

The Santa Clause
Miracle On 34th Street (the remake)
Love Actually

And also the Santa Clause 2 and 3, even though they were actually terrible films, but I love 'em anyway...:o

:)

Edit: Ooh, yeah, and FriendlyGoat's post has just reminded me - the Home Alone films too! :D

Some people have mentioned Goonies and Flight of The Navigator, to me they are summer movies, set in the summer and shown during school holidays etc. Let's keep it to actual xmas movies!

My ESSENTIAL xmas movies list:

Scrooged (Bill murray's finest work)
Ernest Saves Christmas (lol)
National Lampoons Xmas Vacation
Santa Clause The Movie
The Snowman
Home Alone
It's a Wonderful Life (makes me cry like a baby!!)
