Christmas Movies

Muppet Christmas Carol is a must, or it isn't christmas :D. I finally got to watch A Christmas Story last year when it came out here on DVD, that is now going to be watched every xmas, it's great. Now this other one is embarrassing, but somehow it always seems to be on when I'm wrapping presents! I think it's called Jack Frost, it stars Michael Keaton as a recently deceased dad who turns into a snowman and gets to see his son again. I can't help it, I want to watch this at Xmas!

Aside from that, I too have to watch It's A Wonderful Life this year, I always mean to but never have seen it.

With Gremlins already on Bluray aswell as Miracle on 34th Street , it's going to be an HD Xmas this year with It's A Wonderful Life out shortly too.

Home Alone 1 & 2 both out in the US and Love Actually out this month aswell.

I suppose I'll have to wait until next year for The Bishops Wife

Last year all I had was the Die Hard Quadrilogy so things are looking up

Without wishing to make this thread appear repetitive, I'd have to say:
Die Hard
Miracle on 34th Street (remake)
Bad Santa
Elf
Scrooge (Alistair Sim version, but not the horrible colorized version channel five show)

a few more obscure / less obvious ones:
A Midnight Clear (virtually unknown movie set at the tail-end of WW2)
Trading Places
Edward ScissorhanRAB (well, it is set around Christmas and has snow!)

From a bah humbug point-of-view, how about most hated christmas film list? My top three would be:
Santa Claus The Movie
Love Actually
Nativity

Prancer (which no one else ever seems to have heard of:o)
The Snowman and Father Christmas
The Polar Express
Elf
Muppets Christmas Carol

I love Christmas films, I want to start watching them now:o

I don't watch much films around christmas as I'm always too busy(I try to settle to watch but something neeRAB to be done) but my daughter always watches Home Alone and the santa clause
