I received a card from Bell today telling me I can enjoy 3 free PPV movies before Jan 15th. My question is, do you think this would include Hi-Def PPV or just normal PPV. The card does not specify even in the fine print. The card states you have to visit bell.ca/rewards to collect the gift. Maybe this is to prepare us for the new charges coming Jan 1st.
Note: I just signed up and it is for standard def only.

Here is the link:

When they give out free movies or when you take PPV packages it's for standard definition movies at 4.99$ only. Adult movies are excluded as well as high definition movies.

If you have standard def only what does it matter? Evene if you order the movie in hi def you won't be able to see it in high def, you need a high def receiver for that...

I personnaly do not think it's a special Chritmas gift for you, but a part of the "new client" promo you signed for

Only a few days left to register...

Has anybody printed the confirmation page?

i signed up for it too...i probably won't use it, seeing as i always watch the HD movies, and i will most likely be getting rid of my bell services soon.

The way Express Vu's billing Dept works we should see credits around Easter....lol

Perhaps I should withhold 25$ for my own "administration fee" for not giving out the credits within 30 days

If you got that 25$ charge that means your bill was 60 days late

You could try, the agent "in good" faith might request the 25$ to be reversed

Just looked at the link... I correct what I previously said, it's not part of the "new client deal" then...

I will sign up for it then. I borke my leg, i'm home, so got more time to watch TV. Thanks for the info!

The part I hate is that they don't give you a confirmation number...agent are usually not aware of the rpomo on the bell.ca and are often told that they can not apply them. I expect lots of problem if I use the films and discount is not applied. You have 60 days from the day you sign on line to use the films

Curious though, I know the pre-paid PPV package is $12.99, but for this promo deal why would they give a $12.99 credit? 3 x $4.99 does not equal $12.99.

If I do order 3 PPV movies, will I only get $12.99 back or will I get the proper full amount.

Oh well, I wasn't going to bother signing up, but if they are simply going to apply the credit, I'll take it.

Thanks for posting the link. BTW, my confirmation says I have 90 days to order/view them.

There is no confirmation number or anything to refer to....
This is the only confirmation you get :

I know that, and it sucks. What I wanted was a print out of that page just in case, as we all know it will most probably happen, i'm charged for the movies. Since it's an "on line" promotion i'm sure that most agents in the call center didn't hear about it and will say they can not do anything to apply the promo since it's an on line promo.

If that happens i'll be able to send that confirmation by fax to prove what the computer said to me, for an agent to clear it up.

Djino sent it to me already, opefully I won't have to use. Thanks again Djino!

Dosborne they gave me a 12.99$ credit plus 3X4.99$ credit...

12.99$ should have beem a charge according to me, not a credit...am I gonna waste 30 minutes calling in to say they made a mistake to my advantage? I don't think so...

Here's a screenshot I took if this helps you.

Of course, and during this time they have your money and they probably invest it and make interest on it, then 2 months later they give you the credit. Imagine the interest on 3 PPV movies times the amount of users.

Of course this is what my Dad says, he's a big conspiracist

I think he is correct, was he in the film studio when they were faking the Moon Landings too......lol, My Dad was......

Just slightly off-topic but has anyone received a credit yet for the three payperview movies from the Xmas promotion by Evu?
