Christmas Films

Miracle on 34th Street (original)

Also if you get the chance to see "The Christmas Shoes" it will have you crying at the end. One of the saddest films i've ever seen  Channel 5 showed it last year.

The Christmas Shoes is a really good christmas film and it will have you crying. On the back it says Odyssey Guaranteed Weepie and they definitely weren't wrong!

Have the tissues ready!

I try to watch It's A Wonderful Life every Christmas Eve, as it's a classic

or as Phoebe calls it "It's a Sucky Life and Just When You Think It Can't Suck Any More, It Does"

other good Christmas films are various versions of A Christmas Carol particulary

Scrooge (musical)
Alistair Sim version
Muppet Christmas Carol
Scrooged

I don't even mind the first two Home Alone films

Yes, we watched it when it was first released. The sad part was my father-in-law had died just two years before. Had the children and the mother-in-law filling up. Switched over ignoring the wails of protest when I realised where the storyline was going.

Scrooged and Santa Clause the Movie are the best Xmas movies PERIOD!

Watched both hundreRAB of times and never get bored of either.

Agree with most of you as I love any Christmas themed film at Christmas. I will be watching most of them again this year as my wife buys me a new Christmas themed film every year and we watch it on Christmas Eve along with Scrooged which I have watched every Christmas since I first saw it on the cinema when it first came out. :D

love jack frost , white christmas and miracle 34th street (love this one most it just make u feel christmassy)
AND i do love little women even thou its not actually an xmas film i just always watch it at christmas

I have that recorded from years ago. It comes on right after The Snowman.

Needless to say I have a box of tissues ready when I watch that video

No you're not the only one. I love that flim, it's hillarious. I watch it every year. :)

Also have "It's a Wonderful Life" on DVD. It is a great film.

All the ones mentioned really for me: It's a wonderful Life, Scrooged, National Lampoons, Santa Claus the Movie, Christmas with the Kranks, Miracle...

There are a couple of new ones out in the cinema this year too.

The worst? That Ben Affleck one - truely a dreadful film on all levels!

Muppet Christmas Carol
Santa Claus the movie
Elf
Gremlins
also the snowman and the bear although technially, they are not movies but christmas is not christmas without them!
