Christians- why do you care so much about an educated Atheists/non-believers salvation?

I don't. The way I see it, we are only called to share the gospel, help them with any questions and resources they may need and if they do not agree with our message, than so be it. We aren't supposed to "force" or "preach" people into salvation after they have made their choice. The only thing are to do is pray for them to come to around. Most of the Atheists and other non-believers I have met have been very well educated on matters of scripture, doctrine and history, so if they make the conscious choice to not become a Christian, what do I care? It just baffles me when I see Christians arguing and fighting and even insulting non-believers in order to get them to believe! That's backwards and defies what Christ told us to do when our message is not accepted. Matt. 10:6-16.There are so many Christian Youtubers especially actively trying to convince Atheists in particular that Christianity is true and blah, blah, blah, but....we aren't supposed to do that! If they, after careful study and examination do not accept the message then you are supposed to leave them be. But people keep debating in hopes they'll change their minds. I have never understood this. Anybody wanna explain it to me?
Thanks for your responses. When I sad I don't care, I didn't mean I want it to happen or wouldn't be sad, I mean we shouldn't take it so personally. Just to clear things up.
Ok! Further clarity needed as apparently I should check before I type. Witnessing is shareing the Gospel and helping non-believers with any questions and we MUST do that, but AFTER they have made the choice not to become a Christian we are to leave them alone and pray for them to come to Christ, not to continually badger or beat them over the head with debate and arguments. So it goes:
1.Witness and keeping in mind to respect their dignity and views, no "Repent you nasty sinner!!"
2.If they reject the message, you let them be but still be open to provide any answers or resourses they need.
3.Continue to pray for them and hope that they will one day see the goodness of Christ.
That's the formula! *shrugs* It's not that hard!
Superb9006-Hi! That scripture is not about ARGUING and DEBATING with non-beliervers-it's about kowing your faith and being prepared to answer with learned study anyone who challenges you- it has nothing do with witnessing necessarily. May I share with you these: Corinthians 5:12-13
Titus 3:1-11
The church is about believers, not unbelievers. We need to correct and edify each other more than we argue with non-believers. God bless.
