>>Christians, why do you always complain that atheists don't believe in god<<

I NEVER complain that atheists don't believe in god; check my Q&As.

You don't seem like a "nice shy guy" to me. Do you also have false beliefs about what Jews, Muslims, Hindus, etc. 'always do'?

...when you don't believe in Thor? Or any other deity for that matter? Since when is your religion the only one?
And where's the evidence that yours makes more sense without using the bible. Because every religion has a document of some sort to quote.
Heavenbound, I absolutely LOVE your answer and all, but you kinda missed the point of my question. WHY do you think your god is the only god? I mean I could say your going to Hades, but that doesn't make it so now does it?
Ok just ignore my question. Christians can't even answer it anyways.
Oh and Heaven Lady look around you, you seem to be a little outnumbered on this concept. You know Christianity is in deep **** when they're outnumbered on an internet forum dealing with religion... on a Tuesday.

I don't believe in Thor because according to his mythology, he is but one god among many. That means he is not all powerful, but simply a figure in pagan mythology.

More seriously, I don't believe in Allah because Allah, though touted as the only god, does not speak and act in holiness. Historically, he appears as a mouthpiece of Muhammad, who devised Allah for self-aggrandizement. For example, when Muhammad wanted to marry the wife of his adopted son, he had Allah order it.

The true God, capable of creating the universe and establishing moral law, must be all powerful and all good. Thus, we can rule out human inventions like Thor and Allah.

Cheers,
Bruce

Who' s Thor anyway?.. For us Christians, we believe that we should believe only in one God and Him only shall we serve.. And that is our God the creator of all... God is not pleased when we believe in other gods.
Satan uses many gods to deceive us.. to take us away from our Father in Heaven.. The God of all nations.. being christian doesn't mean that WE are the only one that will go to Heaven.. In Romans 10:9 "but if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord. And believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, You will be saved". Accept Jesus, God's son as your Lord and savior. repent and be saved.

I don't complain about it.

No other religeon that i have heard of has raised people from the dead, healed the sick and done miracles like Christianity. And does thor have any documentation? i.e. Bible?

I believe that Christianity is the One and True religion because the Laws of science according to science states they were always there and cannot be change. Evolution states it is always there and nothing exploded and made everything. That is extremely unscientific be breaks many laws, including the Laws of Conservation of Energy and Mass.

The Laws of Conservation of Energy and Mass are the two basic laws of sciences that you will study in an academic science class in high school because all reactions, whether it be simple as turning a light on/off or burning a piece of paper on fire, follow these laws. The theory of evolution breaks these two laws making it 100% impossible to happen. However, these are not the only things that disprove evolution that states man evolved from animals. The lack of evidence for evolution is overwhelming. There are Many considerable differences between humans and animals, this is including monkey/apes, there are no links that showing monkeys/apes, and there are no links showing that animals evolved into other animals. In fact Charles Darwin stated once that if evolution is true there will have to be hundreds of thousands of fossils showing the evolving state animals turning into other animals and apes/monkeys evolving into man. You say that religion is a joke, but yet, you overlook the facts that disprove evolution.

The Judo-Christian God of the Bible is the One and True God because He is the only God that has with stood the test of time, science, history, and prophecies of the Bible. This can be seen through the Dead Sea Scrolls that were written 2000 years ago and more proving that it with stood the test of time because it matches up word for word of the Hebrew Bible. Verses such as Leviticus 17:14 stating “For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.” and Isaiah 40:22 stating “It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:”. These verses in the Bible are proven to be scientifically true thousands of years after they were written! The Israelites being enslaved to the Egyptians 3000 years ago and they spending 40 years in the desert is historically accurate proving that the Bible stands the test of history. And the test of prophecy is being fulfilled right now by the world leaders discussing and making plans how on they, the leaders of the world, are able to unite the world through a global government and economy. This is written in the Bible in verse of Revelation 13:7 “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” and in Revelation 13:16-17 “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”.
