...you take it to a mechanic? "Ask whatever you wish for in prayer and I will do it"

this is a true story........

I once owned a 63 Ford Falcon. It was a 3 speed on the tree. It was a decent car and seemed to be stuck at 55mph........no matter how I pushed it.. Cosmetically it was a head turner, mechanically, it was a dog!

No matter the pressure I put on the pedal, the 3 speed maxed out at 55mph..........if it did not rain.

I went to visit my aged (97) year old grandfather. A southern spring storm formed......knowing that this car was temperatual, I said my goodbyes as the rain began to fall.

The car, due to its temperament would not start........after a while, I lay my headf on the wheel ( for I knew my aged Grandpa would attempt to help and he did not need to be in the rain)............God, YOU made the world in six days.,,,,,,YOU can start this Ford............I picked up my head from the wheel, turned the key and she started! She went 40 miles.....until I stopped at the Post Office.....and failed to start again, at which point, I called a brother to help.........he lifted the hood, "jiggled" some wires and started. To this day, he declares that he does not know what he did.

Shortly after, I sold the car for 7 times what I had invested in it........the buyer was aware of the "rain" problem.

Then there was the Chevy that mysteriously would not start on the very day that my hubby wrecked his 18 wheeler in an ice storm.............hubby home...........car starts! Car has a CB that I can hear the truckers discuss his wreck.....his truck that I drive to hospital, does not!

God protect us............even when the medium of protection is our vehicle. I pray for protecion and wisdom enough not to be ripped off, whether it be mechanics, plumbing or medicine.

I take it to a mechanic. But if I am at the middle of the desert and it is a miracle that I need, I will pray.

prayer. always works for me, sucker! should have gotten on his good side from the get, i never have to pay for flat tires or any of that.
