Christians: Since the rapture is near, is it necessary to protect the environment?

Can we just go ahead and defile the earth since it is coming to an end?
Dr _ : just wanted answers from those who believe in the rapture. question doesn't really apply to those who don't. i wasn't being intollerant
First John : No. It is 'dig' trees and 'sell' fish
 
My buddy told me that if I chopped down a tree and poured out my old motor oil that all liberals would become extinct. He either lied or they are not as fragile as they keep claiming to be.
