Christians, is polluting the environment a sin?

Aren't you hurting God's creation every time you start your car? Or waiting in line at a fast-food drive-through? Just curious.

Yes.
It clearly states in Revelation that God will "destroy them which destroy the earth", and the Scriptures also command that we care for our animals. God made the earth and animals and they are precious to Him. He gave earth to Mankind to tend and care for. In fact, that was the very first commission given to Adam. Violation of that trust will result in very bad consequences for the violators.
