Christians: Is Heaven still under construction or has it been built/created yet?

I would imagine it would take some time to complete what with all the housing,shopping malls etc for trillions of people. Having said that a few thousand years have passed by now, although I know there is a time difference there.

Also, it says in the bible there are many mansions. Do we get a mansion to live in or is there a choice of accommodation? I mean I would be quite happy with a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment so it would be easy to maintain.
 
Those that are destine to go to heaven, will have the spiritual insight to know how they will live and what their roles will be. The scriptures tells us about "a new heavens and a new earth". What about this new earth? How is it new, who will live there and will the resurrection of both the righteous and those who may not known about Jesus before they died be raised up? Read 2 Peter 3:5-7,11-13; John 5:28,29. Genesis 1:28; Matt.5:5; Rev.7:9; 14:6,7; 21:1-4
 
Didn't you hear? They lost their construction fund after God turned over the money and savings to Madoff.
 
You're not going to heaven and neither am I.....it's a spiritual place for Angels.....and there is no need for "physical" things.....
 
I guess "mansion" would be a subjective term, that could vary for each individual. My mansion is my 1 bedroom studio. Anyhow, I have no idea what to expect of heaven. I look to the skies in wonder, so I'm sure it's gonna be good :D
 
When construction is complete we get to move in. And where do "you" get off thinking "you" get a "mansion" ? I'm thinking your accomodations will be alot less comfortable than mine and a "HELL" of a lot warmer.
 
No, Heaven is perfect as it is. Therefore, no construction is needed. God has a place in heaven for everyone who accepts him. God Bless!
