wise and good people...? ...however one is openly homosexual, the other is openly atheistic. Which would you be more inclined to vote for?

Just wondering...

I'll guess they would choose the homosexual over the atheist.

More than likely, they would just not vote. The less fundie Christians who vote, the more likely we will have a winner who is intelligent.

If they were wise then they would not bring up their sexuality, nor their beliefs in order to win certain votes.

You haven't said anything to get me to turn against either of the hypothetical candidates.

Whichever one appreciates 'Firefly.'

Really, you haven't given me anything that would make a whit of difference to me in your question.

if that was my only choice,
I would sit that one out.

and then pray for God's mercy on us.

Neither their sexuality or their religion (or lack thereof) would have any impact on my decision. Of couse I'm not a Christian, so the question wasn't actually addressed to me.

I don't know. I am guessing atheist but that would make me hypocritical because I believe in voting for people who will do the job well, not on their views about religion.

If we were facing a theocracy....then I would vote for the atheist

If we were facing discrimination against homosexuals...I would vote for the gay guy / gal.

Whoever had the best policy platforms, both foreign and domestic.

Easy question.

Atheist because it would make other countries [with religious fanatics] hate our guts if they were homo
