Christians: If God told you to kill someone as he did in the Bible, would you? How

would you know it was God? God commanded many people to kill others in the Bible. If God told you to do that today, would you do it? If so, how would you confirm it was God and not the devil or your own mind? How was this question resolved by the biblical people?
