(Christians)Has education in and of itself become a God?

I'm not against education by any means....but, are people drinking in the the poison of a decaying society and getting drunk with the pride of their achievements?
Is admitting that there is a God on a college campus a secular blasphemy?
Nina....good point.

yes, our society has been blinded by the indoctrination of our government that education is our highest priority. that only through this can we achieve success. we deny the truth of our situation that people do not lack the proper jobs for our newly graduates but our new generation lacks the determination to WORK.

we have lost sight of our being, therefore we entrust everything to our universities, forgetting the real source of success, which is coordination with the divine.

Secularism is the religion. It pervades our educational systems. It is the religion that states that you should seek all knowledge EXCEPT that knowledge which might lead you to God. If you look at the state of our educational system, you find that there is more and more testing and less and less knowledge seeking. Talk about a brainwashed and controlled group of people.

The job of public school is to provide secular education. Same for community college. For religious education, there are sunday schools, appropriate colleges and so on.

Luk 21:34 Don't spend all of your time thinking about eating or drinking or worrying about life. If you do, the final day will suddenly catch you
Luk 21:35 like a trap. That day will surprise everyone on earth.

Yes. anything which takes the place of God in ones life is their god.
Anything which causes a lack of faith and love for the true God, is their god. They are even their own god. This is what Adam wanted, to be god. That was his sin and the first sin in existence.
Adam/anointed cherub, said, I am God. I sit in the seat of God. But God said you are just a man and I have driven him out of Eden for his wickedness. Eze. 28.

So all of this, I know God does not exist stuff, is their being a god to themselves, for they do reject the true God and set up their own words.
Good question.

I think the premise is well noted, but because education is mandatory in all forms some by government, and by culture to achieve, I would not go as far to say we (Christians) think of it as God. but needful by circumstance. Even as the angels were given as our instructors, so has education exceeded its authority or limits

Public education in America has failed in its purpose, which is to develop good secular boys and girls who can do math as well as Japanese and Indian kids.
