CHRISTIANS: Doesn't God intervene before humanity destroys themselves? Isn't that

what the Bible says? Isn't it right when it seems that we are going to blow ourselves up that God intervenes and Jesus returns with the Saints? Is that in Revelation or am I totally bunghole backwards on this one. I can't quite remember. I thought that the storyline went that everything seems like it will be doom and gloom and then right at the 11th hour, God does His thing and Jesus returns, right?

Is the Rapture before or after this?

It wouldn't make sense for God to let us nuke ourselves or even destroy our planet with technology. We would never learn any lesson and would probably end up glorifying ourselves like "ooooh man, we can make technology that is soooo cool that it kills us all! Oh man, aren't humans sooooo cool??? We are the bomb diggity!!" and then everyone looks and is like "huh?"

Does God intervene before we think that we are the bomb diggity and try to destroy ourselves?

I want God to just tear open space-time! I bet it would be like Roger Rabbit when the hole is torn to Toon Town. You know what I mean?
