...the fish, sea, etc...? I'm talking about this passage...what does this mean??

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

Basically, God placed mankind in charge, a caretaker if you will, over all the earth and the creatures that inhabit it.

Blessings

According to some versions of Christianity this means that the world was made for humans to use and benefit from. This was a world designed primarily for humans to live in.

According to other versions of Christianity this means that humans are responsible for taking care of the earth - preventing pollution, preserving species from extinction, etc.
