not the same realy. but you can discuss anything from an intellectual view. thats why you have a brain.

NO JAYZUZ IZ MA SAVYOR I NO HE TOUCHED ME
"Our Awesome UNIVERSE...A Product of Chance?" Yeah, your whole life is a matter of chance. If one thing was different everything would be different. Why is that so hard to accept with the universe? "Do you not agree that every piece of grand music must have a composer and that the instruments must be finely tuned for it to sound good?" I agree, It was touched by His noodley appendage.

No you i****. That's why we are christians. If we we're capable of discussing that possibility, we'd be agnostic. Since God DOES exist, really doesn't matter.

9/10 times they will use some verse of the Bible in the argument thinking that it will somehow 'enlighten' us.

I don't think the concept that there is no God is even possible to most of them, besides their religion is designed not to allow such thought.

Um, no I may be capable, but I wouldn't be comfortable doing it which is the real question, because in that case I wouldn't do it.

Yes. However, when has that discussion ever passed the "but how could nothing come from something/something come from nothing" part?

It all ends the same - everyone misinterprets the inevitable lecture on fundamental doctrine of some religion.

It would be easy if I could have amnesia about all the things that He has done in my life and the lives of my loved ones and others around me.

I am a born again Christian and believe in God the Creator, father, Spirit and Son. but i am yes perfectly capable of discussing the possibility that God doesn't exist. Because if he doesn't exist then why would we have a need for laws rules and social and democratic laws rules and authorities. we could all do as we pleased, eat drink and be merry so to speak and to hell with anyone else. why would we need to try be at peace with each other when we are all doomed to just die and that be the end of us.
we would have no need for a intellectual brain. we'd not need to care for others have love grace and mercy. all of these things i get from my God. I and most others would just go wild if we didn't think there was anything more than this life that is here in front of us. it isn't just christians who have thought there is a God. nearly every civilisation has acknowledged that there must be some supernatural God being in existence.
