The answers that the other person gave seem correct. For number 2, a parable is a type of lesson- more specifically, a life lesson. Jesus always told stories, or parables. in order to teach people lessons about life- how God wants us to live. For instance, one of his parables deals with flowers not growing when planted in the rocks- the rocks would hold the plant down. It wouldnt grow with weeds- the weeds would choke and kill it. It wouldn't grow somewhere else (I can't remember where he said, but the birds would eat it). But it would grow in the soil. The lesson of this is to keep your life pure, like the soil, and you will grow.

1.) Israel
2.) Not sure what parable means, sorry....
3.) They where not Christians, and thought of them as Heathens, for not following the Roman gods.
4.) Jewish people.
5.) He was the first Christian Emperor.
6.) Every religion needs a church, temple, etc...
7.) Different interpretations of the Bible.
8.) Monks where the religious heads, they prayed, and studied.

1. IT depends what you mean by Christianity. If you are talking about Jesus, then the answer would be Palestine. But if you mean the Christian Religion, then that would be debatable, but probably the best answer would be The Near East, or Rome, depending on whether you think the religion started with Peter or Paul.
2. He was a good teacher and story teller and wanted people to think about what he was telling them. Lots of teachers use stories (parables) to teach their students.
3. The Romans used to blame any radical group for their problems. If the Christians dishonored the Roman Gods, then that would be an excuse....
4. If you check the later parts of the New Testament you will see that there are poor people, working people, and rich people all involved. Also, some were Jewish and some were Gentiles....
5. There are lots of legends about him but a famous one is about him seeing a cross in the sky before a battle, then he won the battle and decided that the cross meant he should be a Christian. This almost certainly never happened.
6. Money.
7. Money.
8. There were dozens of different orders of monks. Some prayed all the time, some worked as farmers, some were teachers, some were doctors or hospital workers, some were soldiers who defended Christian pilgrims travelling to visit religious sites.

Hey, there you go. Homework all done.
