I am going to major in political science with a law emphasis. I don't want to work in the criminal justice system though. Are there career paths for lawyers that work with policy making? Something with a ministry organization defending ethics such as the Pro-Life campaign or defending prayer in schools would be similar to what I'm looking for. I'm not asking for specific examples just in general if these options exist. Thanks in advance for your help!

There is a great need for Christian Lawyers. Our rights to worship will be in trouble soon along with the Constitution. Will you being willing to help defend it?

If you want to be a laywer and not go against your morals you're going to get crappy paychecks. If you're okay with that then look into christian nonprofits- thye always need law related help.

Christians should follow the example of Christ and stay out of political things.
A lawyer who wants to help formulate 'policies' is getting right into the bull-ring with the fighters.

I think the Christian answer would be that if God has put this vision into your heart, He is also able to make a way for you to fulfill it.
