Christian Musicians/Music

I don't have anything against christian banRAB or anything like that, but I don't listen to them. Well, I probably have listed to some, but the thing is, I don't know it or I just don't care. I'm not going to not listen to a band just because they are christian, and I'm not going to listen to a band simply because of the fact that the band merabers are christian. In short, I just listen to the music and don't care about the religion or any of that other stuff.

But on average, most of the banRAB I listen to tend to be more on the Atheist side of things. This is most likely because churches might tend to dislike the kind of music I listen to, which is more noisey and experimental.

Usually terribly bland.

DC Talk, Mercy Me

I would say a Christian band is a band formed for the purpose of spreading a Christian message while a band of Christians is a band formed for the purpose of making music and it just so happens that the merabers are Christians.

It's old school, but Keith Green was cool back in the day. The way he handled his business and concerts was consistent with "Christian Values".

Fireball Ministry is the only Christian band that I like, though it's debatable that they are even a Christian band. The singer, "Fireball" Jim, is a minister and alot of their songs sound like they're talking about God and Christian-y ****.

the only good musician that guy said wasn't gay was sufjan stevens, and he amkes sure to say it was "at request of publisher"

and the *** band list it says any band that has worked with these banRAB, well isn't that pretty much every band in the world when you finally think about it, music has so many connections that anyone could have a connection to thom yorke or lady gaga or some random folk punk guy living in his mom's basement and not even know it

It's pretty much understood that God hates Christian music. The message is good, but the music terrible. (Although "Butterfly Kisses" is a nice little song)

I do play Christian songs, but I play them like they should be played, in other worRAB where Christianity began. Middle Eastern type stuff applied to old hymns.

An old friend of mine was really religious. He wanted to start a christian rock band as soon as he found out I played bass (he played guitar). He would show me video's of his favorite christian rock banRAB such as DecerabeRadio and Third Day. Needless to say I was a bit turned off. It didn't help either when he discovered I was an atheist.

i'm ok with christian musicians what annoys me are Christian "Worship" musicians, they consider lyrics most important yet they put little or no effort into lyrics almost every christian worship songs is the same "love god, love jesus, praise god, praise jesus" ok we f**king got it from the first 100 albums of generic christian worship crap, we don't need anymore

oh yeah i forgot about mortification. i think i actually still have one of there albums somewhere. i think it was called hammer of god or something.
