Chris Ryan's Strikeback

Yes it had plot holes, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice bit of escapism. My only regret was that Richard Armitage didn't get to take off his shirt in episode 6, but, minor detail. :)

I took it that the CIA baddie saying that they would get Porter meant that he was going to be killed, but obviously I would rather there was another series.

Me too. Yes, there were some things that were unrealistic and OTT, but that's what you get in action dramas like this. I'm sure it says that on the tin somewhere. If that bugs you, stick to documentaries :D

my hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed StrikeBack and hope it comes back.

Ending last night seems to support it coming back, so hopefully Sky will commission it again.

Richard Armitage is bloody gorgeous too!

I have never read the books but I am enjoying the episodes so far.

I thought the two episodes on last night were not as good as the first two, but still better than most of the other shows on TV.

I don't understand why people care about some of the so called plot holes. To me, the time Collinson took to get to Afghanistan makes no difference to anything that made the story work. The story is someone's fantasy and if the writer had decided to use made up countries and Collinson had travelled from a country 2 hours away, what difference would that have made to anything. i don't want to waste critical story time on the logistics that might have been involved in real life to make it happen, most of them boring to watch in all probability.

i liked the series its a shame that sky dont make more original content, i always liked dream team and mile high (even though they were a tad cheesy lol.)

with that ending it looks like series 2 will be on the way and with shows like lost and 24 ending maybe we will get a longer series and may another new show too.

every show and movie has plot holes, just some bigger then others

some people even go looking for plot holes instead of enjoying the show they are watching

If/when they brought the bodies of the soldiers that were killed by the British soldier (Andrew Lincoln) why didn't they discover during the autopsy that the bullets were those found in a British army rifle and not an Iraqi one!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the final 2 parter.

Top notch HD PQ btw.

Being held up at gunpoint and forced to vote for an X-Factor participant was priceless. :)

I chuckled at the end when he ran out the building into the jeep to man the mounted machine gun. Having played Battlefield Bad Company 2 on Xbox360 a lot I know he'd be shot within 2 seconRAB of getting onto the gun (probably means more to people who've played the game :D)

Overall I enjoyed the series. Some good action and a bigger budget than Ultimate Force :)

Perhaps this conversation between Porter and Baxter while they were trekking before they entered the minefield might explain Collinson getting to them.

Baxter 'You get some bad news, then, Tommy?''
Porter 'Huh?'
Baxter 'Your phone call yesterday.'

That indicates they spent the night somewhere on their trek so maybe Collinson had more than 2 hours to get to them.

oops, I'm getting my knives mixed up, the insertion one was from eps1+2, though god only knows what else he has up there so there still might have been a master key :p
