Chris Morris's "Four Lions" looks fantastic!

Just watched it today, loved it. I've not laughed that much since The Hangover. It's definitely a maramite film though, half the audience (the older half...) were sat there all stony faced, almost as if they were offended by the subject matter, whereas the younger half seemed to find it hilarious.

You just made a really ridiculous comment about how you've "not seen the film" and go on to bash it. Need I say more? :)

Hypocrisy offenRAB me, that does not mean you shouldn't be able to post. Just like this film deserves to be publicised. :D

Perhaps you should watch it again since you clearly missed the social commentary part of it such as (spoilers below)

how the strictly religious sibling of the main character was a man of peace but was targetted by the security services because he fit the profile. He's arrested and taken to a cargo container to be tortured because it's technically not British soil

or

how the marathon runner is shot by the police because one of them can't tell the difference between the Honey Monster and a bear (or whatever it was)

or

how the stupider bombers like the brother are coerced into doing something they don't really believe in with silly promises

There's plenty of insight in there if you look for it.

just seen the movie

i expected better from Chris Morris to be honest. and most of the real funny bits where in the trailer.

will need to watch it again when on dvd. did fall asleep at one point.

Are you kidding? Theres nothing subtle, fresh, or insightful in the film, which is why it both insults your intelligence and is not at all funny at the same time. Theres nothing funny about beating a dead horse.

Just watched it. Brilliant. I laughed all the way through it:D

Only us brits can take a subject matter like suicide bombers and make it so entertaining:D

Like many on here I'm going to be quoting it for ages. I thought the blowing up of the sheep and claiming to have 'disrupted the food supply' was awesome.:D
