I have ableton live 8 lite so I don't know if I can do this or not. I have an akai lpd8 and I'm trying to basically assign specific parts of a song to the pads on my akai lpd8 so I can use the samples of the song as an instrument. I just want it to work where I have to be holding the pad for the sample to play and when I let go the sample stops. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreaciated.
