Chopin Etudes Opus 10?

On a scale of 1-10, what would you rate those Etudes? I completed his 2nd Nocturne from Opus 9, does that make these easier?

Nocturne No. 2, Op. 9? Based on you completing this nocturne (and assuming you've also MASTERED it), the difficulty would be like 6/10 (moderately difficult).

Thue Etudes are pro level and some of the most technically difficult pieces, in general. Some are plain techerous, like G Flat Major, no, 12, no, 4. F minor and E flat minor are a bit easier, but hard for the left hand. 11 is like a harp and huge stretches in each chord. Listen to some recordings and see which you like.

Learn the entire parts 1,2 3 of Hanon for piano for virtuosity building. Part 3 is scales, arpegioios, and special combinations of fingers in one hand. You'll hater it, but that is how you will conquer the Etyudes of Chopin someday. If anything, try some of the Chopin Preludes first, and some of his piano waltzes, Mazurkas, and other nocturnes.
