Choke sticking on '99 Katana

Happy Thanksgiving. I had new tires put on my bike during the summer and at that time had them look into why my bike sometimes idles at 6000rpm's then the next light it's trying to stall. Basically, the choke was sticking so they fixed it. Well over the past few months I started having the same problem. Does anyone know if I can grease/fix the choke sticking myself. If so, how? It's was a little pricey to have a shop fix it for me. I'd like to fix it before I trade it for a gixxer within the next few months. Thanks, Brian:)

Thanks for the reply. I have no idea where the problems lies exactly. If you have any suggestions on how to figure that out please let me know. This is my first bike and I'm still in the learning stage.
Thanks,
Brian

you can use chain/cable wax to lubricate the cable, as you should lube all those cables (throttle, clutch, choke), and then take the tank off and take a look at the mechanism that the choke cable hooks up to. you can try to clean this if thats the problem, but you might need a spring replaced or some lubrication needed.
