Choke (new Chuck Palahniuk film)

First of all i have been looking forward to this film for what seems like years (a bit after Survivor was canned (possibly) due to 9/11)

Anyway I live in London (yay me) but I found it only playing at the cineworld Haymarket!

Admittedly it was lunch time on a Sunday... and there is a credit crunch but there was like only 10 people in there!

Anyway this film is funny and (although not as good as the book) I def recommend it - if it's actually shown anywhere!
 
I thought it was one of the worst, badly directed, unfunny, nonsensical films I've ever seen.

And cheap, the airplane sets looked like they were made of cardboard.
 
Indeed, for what was purported to be a comedy, it provoked precisely one laugh from the audience I was in (at a very nearly full preview screening).

As I mentioned on another thread, Aliens Vs Predator Requiem is a better film...


..and the worRAB 'Aliens Vs Predator Requiem' and 'is a better film' in the same sentence, is something I never thought I'd ever see.
 
it was a great film, not to everyones taste. the audience i saw it with (cineworld haymarket about 6pm last night, half full cinema) laughed all the way through it

its is a bit more sophisticated than your average comedy

the 'rape' scene was hilarious
 
I must admit I was laughing all the way through it

best line for me was:

'oh that rape, I thought you were talking about another rape'

'er.. you do realise we are the police don't you'
