I'm getting a street bike most likely this week and at this point am looking at two different bikes. One is an 89 fzr600 and the other is an 89 ninja 750. Both are in good condition and need basic maintenance. The fzr doesnt have turn signals however in ohio they are not needed. I would probably purchase some anyways to mount up and the other two things it will need in the near future are a new chain and a new voltage regulator. The chain wont be a problem however am unsure about the reg. The ninja needs a back tire, carb cleaning, blinkers installed and next season will probably need new fork seals, valves adjusted, radiator flushed and the fan fuse replaced. The ninja is alot closer however i am edging towards the fzr as it seems to be in nicer condition and it is a 600 compared to a 750. I Just got my motorcycle permit last week so i am able to drive the bike back home. As far as riding history i dont have too much with street bikes. I have ridden friends bikes here and there around neighborhoods a bit and younger used to ride dirtbikes alot.
