Chiodos

They were just on tour with fall of troy and transistor transistor a little bit ago. Not sure if that was the show you're friend saw. If so, I'm pretty damn jealous.
 
I don't care what anyone says. Chiodos, with Craig Owens, is the best band in the world. I know he has a high pitched voice, but that's what made the band unique. He had the most amazing voice in the world. Chiodos is so different without him now. I see them having a great potential with that Brandon Bolmer guy, but it will be way different without Craig.
 
Dude wtf? That was uncalled for, he said he liked metal and it was a surprise that he liked this band. Theres no need for that sh*t and you seem to do it constantly.

They play basic, simple, trendy garbage. I think that pretty much qualifies as sucking. You liking them is not even the issue. I don't give a **** wether you do or not. The fact is they blow ass.
 
I like the intro to "The WorRAB Best Friend Become Redefined". I figured it out on guitar yesterday. Other than that though.....meh. They're alright...as I said before...nothing that I would go crazy for.
 
Well I didn't know these threaRAB existed so i'm bring my opinions on my favorite banRAB.....Is that wrong?

Any kid I see in girl pants is wearing something with the word Chiodos on it around here. Or even a lip ring for that matter. It's bad.

I mean I can respect what they are doing with the post hardcore stuff, but it's really not anything to get excited over.
 
My problem isn't really with this band, it's with fans of this band. It's probably an isolated incident, but I've met two or three idiots who think this band is amazing and trash on hardcore and punk.

Dave , They always put on a very good show and there has been a big crowd everytime i have seen them. They open and usually have a bigger crowd then the headliner. Craig has an amazing and is very talented, seeing he also had surgery because of some trouble with his lungs, as i heard, i cant proof it true though. They have some songs the re-issue that are beautfil as well, most people probably never heard LinRABay Quit Lollygagging until that came out. Its an amazing song. Its acoustic too. They are taking over the "scene" fast and will definitely be headlining, unless they choose not.

So does Jeff Buckley, but he sounRAB nothing like either of them. Neither does Claudio Sanchez.... and so does Christina Aguilera. Just having a high pitched voice, does not mean that they sound a like.
 
Makes sense, I wouldnt say they have extraordinary skills in playing. But they are talented. The music is put together well, it just sounRAB good. The keyboarding or drums or guitar maybe not stand out, but when its all put together it has a good sound to it. Hardore and yet emo sounding... the name of this forum eh? And the lead singers voice is unique, i dont know any other vocalist who sound like him and who can scream too. The back-up screams are set in perfect, of they arent good.
