Chinese ebay parts..

im blown away w/ some of the prices for levers/rearsets/etc on ebay from chinese manufactures...

has anyone ever used this shit? im in no way putting cheap rearsets on my bike, but levers, im half tempted. for $100 a set, how can u beat that?

im reading more and more good things about aftermarket fairings coming out of china..

maybe things have changed enough that the quality is as good as the more expensive stuff...?
 
I have seen the chinese levers and rearsets and they look as well made as any of the name brand stuff I have seen. A friend fitted both on his 1098S a year ago and so far they are still perfect.
 
Im all for supporting my own country, but some of these parts are just getting ridiculous. $500 for rearsets? c'mon! fwiw, i will be using Vortex rearsets because ive always had them and i love them.

$180 for a pair of pazzo/crg levers? um, wtf are these people smoking?

times are changing guys, i hate to support china but i have a budget like anyone else, i track my bike and if it goes down, there goes a shitload in $$$ because of overpriced aftermarket stuff.

i bet 99.9% of people woulndt know the difference between china and usa/wherever stuff if they all didnt have labels...

i read through an old thread about this, a lot of people think their ducati is too superior for chinese made parts, if thats true, then u better go burn all your clothes and 90% of the stuff thats in your house, cause its from china. lol.
 
And up to $3000 for an exhaust system for a frickin motorcycle? Talk about boutique marketing.

Wait till the chins make and sell a full system for $500- 800 that looks and works well. Then it will sink in.
 
Is it still Bling if its 1/2 price, and made from shit with a nice painted job? If that is the case, I will keep stock.

Also, buying shit from China wont help economic recovery. it will hurt it. But WTF, it not my job that will be lost? (J/K It will be my job. When all the inductry in the us shuts down, so do power plants. When the industreal jobs leave, no one can buy nice cars and bikes, so we buy cheap foreign ones. Soon, we all will be working and shopping at walmart, buying cheap foreign shit. And so on. Soon we will be barowing money form China to buy there cheap shit. Soon they will own us) Oh wait. They do!

Keep buy that cheap shit and save a buck. I do it all the time.
