I bought one of these -

I was thinking if it is safe to use for a email which will have bank passwords, payal passwords, potential client info.

How do I confirm if this device is not sending a copy of everything to the manufacturer?

Paul, I understand using password manager will prevent keyloggers, but what if the manufacturer has set something through deep kernel level that it sends all info sent via 3g or Wifi?

Roboform for android available? Didn't know.

That could be said for any or every phone/pad/communication device made, we just don't know... best if password or private info is to be sent then rar or zip it using two layer password then send as a attachment that way only you and the other person will know the password.

Sorry, but your comment doesn't make sense, if I had to put the password on a email client should I use a double layered zip?

Unless you have some sort of PKI system set up, it's really not safe anyway. Especially if you're using an unsecure Wifi or even WEP. I just got my Security+ Cert and I would say the only way to make sure an email is safe is to use a PKI. Do you have to have some sort of smart card or credentials to encrypt your message? Other than that you might be able to use a protocol analyzer to sniff out where the packets are being sent to. With that being said, I highly doubt a company would have something like that setup. You're more likely to get some sort of malware that harvest that info and send it back to who ever infected you.
