are the bits called? Child's bmx type single speed bike with 14 inch wire spoke wheels. wheeled it out for his birthday this morning and thought - that's strange...
It's actually got a fixed wheel - ie the pedals are locked to turn with the wheel - in both directions.
He hasn't really noticed yet but when he goes down the banks in my mum and dads garden there will be problems!
is it easy to convert? what do I need, is it a spindle? or the hub, or just the cog thingy. or a whole wheel?
I have worked on bikes at length many moons ago, but before I take the chain
sorry - before i take the chain guard and wheel off any ideas from someone who knows?
