Childrens Book?

I am looking for a book that mymom used to read to me when I was a kid. I am 28 years old, so the book is at least that old.

Now the tricky part.... I only remember one thing about the book. The story was about Molly and the Noodlehead, Molly Mo and the noodlehead or some variation of those words.
 
The only thing I know is Martha Hamilton, who wrote 'The Noodlehead Stories' or something. But I don't know about a 'Molly', or when it was written.
