Children of Men..

Loved it. The stand outs for me are the shoot out section (with the blood on the camera) and the incredible Fiat Multipla scene (the one where the woman out of the big lebowski gets shot in the neck) it blew me away the first time I saw it and the second, third...
I've never checked to see how it was done. normally, if I can't spot it straight away, it isn't long before I've figured it out, but I never worked it out and made a point of never trying to find out. It's one the the best scenes that I've, er, seen. So I'm leaving that way. How did they do it? Magic, that's how :)
 
Great film, techincally one the best I've ever seen. Can't quite fathom how anyone could consider it boring/dull. Its totally absorbing, Caine is brilliant as the radical with his Citroen CX (why did the production designer feel the need to disguise it? An old big Cit is exactly the kind of car his character would be driving). Even Julianne Moore is perfectly fine and I usually get annoyed when Americans are parachuted into British films!
